Structural imbalances interfere with posture and movement and can cause the function of the internal organs to be compromised. They frequently cause pain or discomfort and are one of the most commonly seen clinical problems. Structural imbalances arise for a number of reasons. They can accumulate over time from poor posture, work or lifestyle habits. They may result more immediately from injury, or of course from an underlying energetic weakness or stagnation.
This seminar will offer fresh approaches to addressing commonly encountered structural problems and their underlying energetic patterns with particular emphasis on the lower body.
Requirements: Participants should bring loose clothing and an eyeliner or surgical marker pen, to facilitate the practical elements of the course.
Participants must have completed the Foundation course to participate in the Rolling Programme.
Each seminar of our Rolling Programme of Kiiko style acupuncture studies can be taken individually as a stand-alone module or as part of the series. Each day is an interactive blend of theory, demonstration and practical work, giving practitioners the maximum opportunity to learn and experience this style and before integrating it into their existing practice.
